The Islip Museum Installation
is a wire installation that was a reation to the Islip Museum itself. This installation took about a week to create. During that time, I was actually living on the museum grounds. The estate was in a very wooded area on Long Island and was teeming with wildlife. I decided to use wire as a drawing tool to "remodel" the partially destroyed bathroom in the museum. I also choose to depict some of the animals I encountered over the time I spent there.
